What was wrong with chopper bikes though? I’ve barely seen anyone outside kids ride them and wasn’t aware of any reputation aside from being kind of impractical for much outside of casual cruising.

I’ve played this and I would recommend it if you like FPSes or wave type games like Vampire Survivor. Runs great on Steam Deck btw.
I’ve been looking at converting my Trek 820 ST but I still want to have a regular bike. Once I get one, I probably will convert it with a Bafang or something.
That said not all ebikes are a huge PITA to service, depends on the brand.
Kind of want to pick one up because they seem like quality ebikes, but I’m kind of worried about support/repair down the line.
The system is broken and will continue to be broken until something fundamentally changes, but there are too many in power who only care about maintaining their power.
It’s only a matter of time before this information comes to light, state governments are not usually great about keeping secrets or securing their tech.
Try installing uBlock Origin if you don’t already have it. I’m on a Windows machine at the moment so I can’t speak to the OS, but it’s always a good idea to have a quality ad blocker.
