There are tons of 2 lane roads that parallel the interstate in Wyoming where the limit is 65.
And when it’s windy they close the interstate and increase the limit on the side roads in places.
When you have that far to drive between places and it’s largely in a straight line, it makes sense to go pretty fast.

Silicon or white lithium can work but be messy.
Graphite is best for hinges in my experience, I used to use this PTFE spray, but not sure how bad the PFAS exposure is from that. I only use it on the stubborn poorly designed hood latch on my Impreza now.

This is the crux of the situation. It’s a suicide mission unless we have overwhelming numbers (and really an organized force) on our side. Unless and until that happens, cops are just gonna find the occasional person who feels they have less to lose shooting at them than not.
The Apple Magic Mouse is touch based too for buttons and gestures, but I malice the Magic track pad may have had a haptic actuator in it of simulating click and Force Touch (harder clicks). The track pads I on MacBooks have done this for over a decade and it works really well.
