Yes. Next question.
Music (mainly prog rock) and veggie loving, geeky cat butler living in Hertfordshire UK. A lover of all things LOTR (since I first read it nearly 60 years ago) scifi and what have you. Ex soldier (Royal Artillery) and other trades ;-)
Yes. Next question.
Oh, so that’s OK then.
Most certainly!
And then being told off for messing up the living room.
I have brambles sprouting up all over the place from where they were left to spread by the previous occupant. And that sodding bindweed stuff.
If it wasn’t for my wife it’d be full of veg.
Thank you.
A lot of hard work!
We moved in at beginning of December and it was just an overgrown mess. It’s basically plant things and see what grows best and where. Sunflowers OK in some places but not in others, brambles and bindweed sending up suckers everywhere. There was some overgrown bush things at bottom of garden - they had to come out for new fence/gate and I couldn’t get all the roots out. So shoots from that keep appearing and when I dig them out, they’ve spouted from a piece of root less than a cm long!
We inherited a rhubarb plant that we’ve had two lots off of and it just keeps on going.
Have always been in army barracks or a flat, so when we got this bungalow it was a dream come true. Dad had green fingers and so do my two sisters, appears that I have as well.
The result is that I now have suntanned legs and spend a lot less time online :-)
My first garden. Coming to it a bit late at 67, but we have our first potatoes. There are a tomato and a couple of chillies showing and the runner beans have quite a few flowers. Sunflowers are different sizes.
My wife for the past few weeks. In fact since I met her about 6 years ago.
The bosses name is Zuckerberg. What did you expect?
The grift is strong in this one.
We should have grown a pair when they first attacked, back in 2014.
I keep seeing things like this, then an item on the news that says sales in Spain are up.
It’s not all good news.
Learnt this the hard way. Have used Fiskars scissors since the 70s and they were top quality. Was looking for a new pair for the kitchen and found them online. Only to realise they were made in China. They’re pants.
Excellent news. Let’s see more of it.
I know people don’t like Windows 11, but that’s a bit much.
Good old Uncle Sam.
Surprised nobody mentioned this earlier.
Right, I make that (using the lowest figure) over 40 launches per month, every month for the 2 years. Anyone who thinks that is plausible is a tad optimistic.
He would have liked that.
