Cheers 🍻 and I appreciate it, but it’s all good! It’s a reasonable assumption to make, given the context

Yeah, that’s fair

It is broad, yeah. And I can’t speak for everyone, but speaking from my own experience, I certainly resent that my parents made that decision for me. Especially given that there’s no medical reason for it, I don’t see any reason why someone should violate someone else’s bodily autonomy like that.
Edit: also, not a boy :)

If you want your child to resent you for mutilating them with unnecessary surgery without their consent, go for it. If you want to be a good parent, don’t.

Not that I had a reason to go there before, but now I’ll definitely never go to Iowa. Goes on the list with Florida and Texas.
Sink it is, then.

Ah yes, I definitely went full MAGA.
No, I voted for her, just like I always vote for the Dems. But I also understand why she lost, and the Democratic party’s tendency to blame the voters rather than self-reflect is exactly why we’re in the situation we are.

Kamala, begrudgingly. Just like how I voted for Biden and Clinton. I live in a swing state, so I felt like voting tactically mattered.

Maybe, just maybe, the Democrats will someday realize that political parties are supposed to stand for something other than “what are you gonna do, vote Republican?”
If people didn’t vote for you, it’s because you didn’t appeal to them. Don’t blame the voters for not liking the shitty options presented. Actually represent the people, not the donors and consultants, and you might get some traction.
Welcome! I love your outfit 😊

I completely believe that. Actually sounds like a pretty tasty way to keep down pests and have an additional income stream
God damn it, Framework, cmon

I’ve hated myself for long enough, no more. If people hate me because I’m trans, that’s a reflection on them.

I’m so happy for you! I just recently visited a sanctuary city, and it was so nice, to see all the progress pride flags and openly queer people everywhere. I hope my relatively-progressive-for-the-area home city gets there someday

How did you figure out that this is the battle you want to fight?
It’s not a battle I would choose to fight, but I don’t have any other choice. I know who I am, and I’m going to live as who I am, and I’m not going to let anyone stop me. I grew up in a very repressive environment, where I was taught to accept that I had to be who others (especially authority figures) expected me to be. And through a lot of therapy, I discovered that that was the root of a lot of my personal torment. It isn’t always easy, day to day, but I’m going to keep pushing every day to love and celebrate the person that I am, because I can’t stand to live any other way.

Use an app or some other web blocker to stop yourself from loading the site. And when you have the addiction itch and get blocked, try to remember that you’re blocking it for a reason, and you don’t actually want to go there. It’ll take a while for your brain to adjust, but after a few days or weeks, you won’t even try to go there any more. YMMV, but that worked for me.
Hey, look, it’s me!
Thanks so much, Mom, for thinking that prayer and church are the way to fix things, not medication and therapy 🙃

Do we really need to bother pretending we don’t already know what this court is going to say? They’ll vote for it 6-3, and thousands of kids are going to be forced into this torture by their bigoted parents. It’s disgusting, and I hope these justices are haunted to their graves by their inhumanity.
A few hours. My employer feels it’s important that I sit in front of my computer in their building, rather than in my home.
