The list looks great! The only recommendation I’d make is to maybe add an additional 500 GB SSD and put the OS on that, and use the 4 TB drive for just storage. I like to do this with builds so that if something happens with the OS drive (e.g. corruption or driver issues), you can comfortably reinstall the OS on the smaller drive and minimize data loss.
True. But do I really need all those case fans that I’m holding onto? Or that big bag of DDR3? Probably not but it’s cool ok…
My first answer would have been retro game collecting, but that’s already been discussed, so I’ll posit custom PC building. That’s a hobby rife with keeping spare parts “just in case”.

Here’s the original. Seems like the “Ape Escape” piece was added via a repost at some point. I was confused too why Nintendo systems were used instead of PlayStation as well.
+1 for Bazzite. I switched to it last October I think from Windows 11 and have been so pleased. I haven’t needed to go back to Windows at all, all my games have run just fine, which is mostly what I use my computer for anyway. Getting used to rpm-ostree was a little bit of an adjustment for the rare occation I need to manage packages outside of flatpak but I am so happy that I can do everything I need to in this OS.
