@0ddj0bb @signal @signalapp I was not able to use the transfer tool. I had to use the new secure backup which worked in about ten seconds. Signal Support essentially asked me if the units were plugged in. When I replied that rather than waiting 93,000 years I used the alternative. They said oh good to hear that everything worked out.

@0ddj0bb @signal @signalapp I think that I could have been not using disappearing messages for every conversation I’ve ever had in my life and that would not require 93,000 years to transfer the file files
