Sure, I could suspect it…but how can I try to troubleshoot it? Is there a way to see what blocks the desktop from locking the screen?

Thanks! This is what I’m getting here. If I understand this correctly, this is a list of POSSIBLE inhibitors…not which one was triggered last time blocking the actual suspension right?
WHO UID USER PID COMM WHAT WHY >

6 inhibitors listed.

Having a second thought about this, it looks like Screen Locker might be the culprit. But I’m not completely sure. I really could see the desktop wasn’t even locked after a whole night. So maybe it failed to trigger? How can I look at…what’s inhibiting the screen from locking, now? Just like suspension, it works when manually triggered with Meta key + L.

Down Cemetery Road. Same writer as Slow Horses. A bit more unhinged but still a fun watch.

Other than Tuta, which would you consider?

Just for clarification. In ProtonPlus, with Lutris selected on the top left, I went and clicked to install “Proton-GE-Latest, GE-Proton10-26, EM-10.0.32, EM-10.0.31, Proton-10.0.3, DXVK v2.7.1, VK3D-Proton v3.0b, VK3D-Lutris v2.14”. All of these. However, in Lutris - any game’s configuration - Runner tab, I get only: System (9.0 Ubuntu), wine-ge-8.26, and Proton-GE-Latest. There’s quite a lot of them missing. And I don’t know what triggers the ones it finds and why the others are missing.

Thanks. This is the first time I hear about this program, but it looks like it’s indeed the one taking over the pw credentials. I tried unsetting the variables, and hopefully it will stop bugging after a reboot.

Is the machine in the picture the most advanced model ready to deploy in the streets? I’d love to see it in operation.

I’m sure that bear has been declawed and defanged. And I’m sure that’s why the guy went so confidently for another go at it, since the bear couldn’t actually bite nor shred.

Are there still old original 35mm films in circulation? Or is this a digital to film transfer?

Wait until every country starts testing theirs.
Was sailfish os subscription-based? How does that work?

They rejected the secret voting on whether to allow them to participate or not. So it was a public voting. After that, Spain, Ireland, Netherlands and Slovenia have already left the contest. Belgium and some others will announce their position soon.

Thanks. I meant I don’t want to choose the incorrect folder, as this seems to be an important distinction they’re trying to make. I believe I have read the folder structure varies depending on where the wine/proton is installed.
So…which folder does your protonup-qt install to? I understand it should show it on the UI? Mine for Lutris auto-chooses the wine folder. But Lutris doesn’t see it.

Thanks. I’ll try that a bit later.

Thanks. Which folder does it install them to? Is it the wine one or proton?

Nope… I’d still say it’s on you. They really go for zero knowledge encrypted email. You are the only owner of any and all ways of recovering your account. And under no circumstances they should have any way to access your files or emails. This obviously increases privacy… But also the risk of losing everything.
Tuta also blocks reusing addresses. It also screwed me because i used one for a quick test, and i didn’t properly keep the credentials. Now i can’t use that address ever again. I guess it makes sense to avoid impersonation.
I’d say if this is not your threat model, you might want to check less restrictive options, maybe mailbox.org.
And don’t get me wrong, I have a long list of pet peeves with Proton. But i think that part works as designed.

Canada should block the purchase on human rights grounds, regardless.

Not the good news I was hoping for. Doesn’t seem an open experience at all. The customer here isn’t the TV buyer, but the manufacturer. Full of content consumption tracking, customized ads and no mentions of any possible customization by the user, custom apps or anything. This is not for the consumer. It’s all about ads and tracking.

1: why?
2: how can we fix this?
Thanks…I’m thinking I’ll setup a syncthing folder. The backup can happen automatically, but I guess I’ll have to remember to manually import each time.
