My DDR4 is now worth more than my computer (without said RAM). Its insane. And news is saying its going to get worse as Phones, desktops, and any consumer goods with SSD/chips are going through the roof.

Ironically I think its only a VERY small amount of users that are talking like its a “us vs them” mentality for Lemmy/piefed. The devs seem cordial and the APIs are doing quite well.

Its not like conventional internet with walls around platforms. Its a town square full of posts originating from many different platforms and everyone gets to chose how they view and interact.

We regularly joke that Anbernic comes out with new devices every couple of months in every way shape and form factor. Not exactly a bad problem, but they often have issues with quality control. But if you get a refund and new device it usually works out.
