It should be the policy of every country to ban burning oil, so this shouldn’t matter

He already kicked out Canada. What’s the fucking point of a body like this if all countries aren’t in it?

I never quite understood why it was a crime for two countries at war to try to kidnap the head of State.
Like, why wouldn’t Zalemski try to capture or kill Putin?
Obviously it’s a war crime to kill civilians. But generals and heads of state that are directing the generals are not civilians. They should he legitimate targets.
That said, Trump’s invasion of Venezuela, as with Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, are both illegal acts of aggression. But for countries at war “legitimately”, targeting the head of state should be legal.

Shutting off the internet wasn’t to cut the protests off from each other, or even to prevent information from reaching outside – as Western media claims – but rather to deny Mossad access to protesters. This objective was underscored by circulating videos that exposed direct coordination and communication between Mossad handlers and agents in Iran.
Wow, utter bullshit. If anyone can bypass internet blackouts, it’s Mossad.
The internet blackouts were for the legitimate Iranian protestors. And it’s a crime against humanity to attack critical civilian infrastructure

Why would Venezuelan government officials be using X, a centralized platform that’s under the control of the government that just attacked them?
Germany runs their own mastodon servers for their government officials. Why wouldn’t Venezuela?

Marijuana is not a drug.

Rodríguez said he will continue the “supreme objective of developing ecosocialism as a fundamental strategic line of our revolutionary process for the preservation of the environment.”
Double speek.
How can you say that, while continuing to extract petroleum?

Because it’s more than one person that they’re writing about.
One cheers (France). Most tactically avoid condemning nor cheering.
The intent of this reporting appears to be identifying the hypocritical leaders who have condemned Russia for their invasion of Ukraine without also condemning the US for their invasion of Venezuela. I found it to be a useful article.

Looks like it’s just France.
They name some other countries leaders, diplomats, and MEPs that neither condemn nor celebrate. But, afaict, it’s only Macron that has supported it.

Wtf is this pro-russia tweet at the end?!?

I hope that includes an Iron Dome to protect them from their terrorist neighbors
