I’m not sure why you’re being down voted.
It’s a Chinese subsidiary of a Canadian company, I’m not sure if it’s fair to say it’s a Chinese invention/product

What is a conservative in the USA?
Are they forcing you to pay for stuff beyond reasonable needs you may have during your stay? (Food, bottled water, some hygiene products)

I’m guessing the original OC is pointing to the enormous customer bases each store would have to service and how inadequate the amount of stores per borough are relative to the amount of customers

Depending on the maximum budget, I would create a foundation with the single purpose of promoting & integrating European cooperatives and unions, with a big focus on educating everyone on the importance of democracy specially in the management of resources.
My hope is that it could foster a strong enough grassroots movement to achieve the goal of a radically democratic society in some of the most “advanced” economies.

From what I read, his party won the most recent midterm race with a pretty good result (40%), while they seem to have been punished just a couple months ago in the local elections
What’s the tea between Ontarians and Feddit.it?
I’ve been using pocketcast and it works for what I need.
I’ve recently become aware of some shenanigans with the paid service, but currently works great for a basic usage

Yeah, I totally get why she said it, just don’t think it’s a good idea to invite red scare tactics into the 21st century.
Btw your civil reply to my comment truly made my day, hope in humanity slightly raised

I’m happy you do, others might not be so wise

I guess politics is a touchy topic for some.
I don’t know why you are insinuating I’m:
I was just attempting to clear up what OC was getting at, no need to get all worked up over it.
To answer your questions.
Feel free to point out anything I might have gotten wrong, cheers

I guess what @degen@midwest.social is trying to point at is that worker’s don’t truly control the government and so when the current government seizes the means of production it’s closer to a change of hands between different groups of capitalists than anything envisioned by communists.
I’d also like to say that although the government has “seized” 10% of Intel shares for example it has no control over Intel’s decisions. Those shares only provide dividends.

Unfortunate, I asked because I see Ubers/bolts using them all the time since they are considered public transportation here
Thank you for all the information

Sorry for the interrogation, are you allowed to drive through the bus lanes?
Thank you for helping me deal with my curiosity lol

Are you required to get any special licence? Does your car require some distinctive sign to show that it’s registered in a rideshare platform?

I’m assuming you are describing the driver’s pov from the context of the USA.
Do the drivers really use their own cars? Where I’m from drivers usually rent the cars or have a profit sharing agreement with a fleet management company.
Regarding your last sentence, I assume you are thinking exclusively of able bodied people, correct? Otherwise it seems like you’re defending letting handicapped people “out” (aka die without resources)
And how would you achieve a meritocracy when the family you are born into and luck have such a high impact on your economic outcomes?
Btw would you agree with the old saying “from each according to it’s abilities, to which according to its needs”? Or would you prefer “from each according to it’s abilities, to which according to its labour”?
Under the rules of the EU most benefits an European country provides to their citizens must be provided to residents of other European nationalities.
With that in mind I guess the purpose is to keep the price of access to culture lower for locals and still follow the rules from the EU
