Not at all.
More attention means more people see it, so even if the percentage of complainers haven’t changed, there are more people who know.
On top of that, there was criticism before. There’s that streamer who was mocked relentlessly in comments and some defending him, there were articles about game developer lobby groups complaining that were posted here, etc.
Don’t forget that like most racist and anti-immigration parties of the world, they have ties to Russia.
The head of the party of course denied this, as he did in the past when he tried to claim that Russia wasn’t really responsible for the war in Ukraine…
Put on some traditional TV news and you’ll basically be told that there are no civilians there.
The average boomer think the entire place is 100% terrorists. They’re not told about the suffering of innocents. And this isn’t me speaking about America, I’m talking about non-conservative European news. The amount of propaganda is mind boggling.
None of the documentation or statements by US officials are consistent, and appear to include a bit of lying. So people are leaning towards him being at least partially correct in his accusations.
In short, they saw the picture and then began an extended interview where they made a bunch of false claims, and used made up reasons to deny him. Then later claimed they used more reasonable argument, which also doesn’t really hold water.
Yeah, I’ve had a fiber cable running all the way into my apartment for over a decade, and directly into my router for years.
Most memes or jokes referencing a direct problem in PHP, are old or made by people who haven’t touched the language in a decade(version 7 was in 2015, and it removed/fixed a lot of issues and added needed features).
There’s also the huge looming thing that a lot of programmers forget: Websites like Wikipedia run on PHP, not to mention the amount of WordPress and similar websites are out there. Which means it will keep going strong. And for a while Facebook also used quite a lot of it, to the point where they made a rudimentary compiler instead of rewriting parts in more efficient languanges.
The way they’re often used in movies by firing basic flaming arrows into groups of soldiers is often not accurate(although there are records of East Asian troops using gunpowder based rocket arrows against soldiers).
However, flaming arrows have been historically used in sieges for a long time. We have records going back 2700 years of arrows having something tied around the tip that was soaked in oil and lit on fire. Just look at the posted picture, those are real “cage” style flaming arrows
We even have actual examples of arrows from the 1400s with a saltpeter compound on it that burns under water.
Let me guess, they did the classic projection case of acting like they were mad because they felt “tricked”?
Spending a couple of months in company IT support tends to help people realize better, or make them bitter.
Those TV shows like the IT Crowd aren’t joking with their situations. I’ve literally had to walk across several buildings or go to another town just to plug in the power cable of a monitor, or physically hit the power button, multiple times.
I mean, this is just a given.
Half a day in the ER in the Nordics might cost the same as a night at a cheap motel in the US. While the same time and treatement in a US ER could pay for a weekend in some of the more expensive hotels in the world.
Fun fact: This is why a huge amount of people don’t use self-checkout despite it potentially saving a lot of time. They are afraid the person behind them is going to judge them like this while trying it for the first time.
And why you don’t really see major conglomerations openly fighting back against EU regulations, only individual companies. Because they are scared to death of the EU fines that are based on percentage of total revenue.
Something like the main Samsung company getting hit with one of the big fines would literally alter global economy, either way. Since the payment would be enourmous, and if they refuse to pay they’d be blocked from operating in the EU.
Other countries have tried, and it doesn’t work. You have to fix the larger issues.
This is super minor. We can only hope it’s a cover for something more life threatening.
The swelling also occurs with late stage heart failure. Which is why they were so quick to announce a diagnosis that didn’t indicate he’d die soon.
Are you just waking up from a coma? Because they’ve been pretty open about wanting to privatize the government and run it like a business. Mitt Romney basically campaigned on that over a decade ago.
While that’s one part, they had to say something because of that picture of his legs.
CVI can cause swelling like that and is sort of treatable, but at his age another common cause of that ankle edema is late stage heart failure. As in “probably wouldn’t last term” late stage. And that rumour spreading would cause him major issues, like people spending more money on Vance than him.
You are very much correct, and don’t worry about the other comment. You see that elitist take scarily often in some of these communities. I saw one person try to argue that programs should be intentionally made less user friendly, to force people to become better at computers.
They literally don’t understand how most people think and only see things from their own tech perspective.
How you about you regulate child beauty pagants and and ban child marriage in your own country first. They make reality shows about thos pagants who sexualize real children and you’re trying to act morally superior about animation.
Yeah, I haven’t watched it in years and this is making me want to download it as well.
