You get the pass for you, to which you get unlimited visits. As a peek of having the pass, you get additional single day park passes you can cash in using the kiosks. I’ve got lower tier pass, so I only get 6 instead of 10, but I’ve been able to bring friends and family a few times using those passes instead of them having to pay to get in the park.

This makes perfect sense. The only way around it would be to randomize the location of the digits/letters, and I’m sure people would throw a fit if that was the case. Still it should be an option.

I know absolutely no one who thinks a Tesla (any of them) is a luxury EV. Musk is doing a great job making them undesirable to the general public, hence the large amount of unsold teslas sitting around in lots. It’s not all because of his politics, some of it is just because their quality control is terrible, as is their software.

• higher cost of college
• more people are pushed to go to college
• more jobs require college education
• more pressure on students to pass with high marks
• more high school courses do college prep
• more standardized testing
• more scientific test based education adaptations to make sure kids learn and aren’t left behind

Likely other demographic, family educational backgrounds and other shifts that could alter the grading dynamic as well.

Hopefully this is true because I’ve heard from people trying to do just that with other “Smart TVs” that won’t work at all without an internet connection and account at least for initial setup.

Honestly, If the cars pass NHTSA regulations, don’t phone home info to China or BYD, and are inexpensive and not just cheap disposable vehicles, bring ‘em in! I want an inexpensive EV for commuting. Hence, if you don’t like Biden because of this, you don’t want Trump either. And of course, vice versa. In short, this policy is not unique to either party or administration.

Honestly, I don’t really see this as able to sway anyone politically anyway. The real reason for all of this extra that Zuck brought it up, is simply to SEEM like he’s being transparent and open to win favor with the people and coming administration.

And while the AnandTech staff is riding off into the sunset, I am happy to report that the site itself won’t be going anywhere for a while. Our publisher, Future PLC, will be keeping the AnandTech website and its many articles live indefinitely. So that all of the content we’ve created over the years remains accessible and citable.

This is such a big thing. Losing access to content is something we’re seeing en masse and future historians and hobbyists greatly appreciate having historical articles accessible and not lost to the sands of time. I think it would be even better if we could all torrent and archive as well, but accessibility and continued access is appreciated.
