Pod racing?
I found out by accident, as I was in your spot.
Quickly put your finger on your account in the bottom bar and swipe up. Then it’ll show all accounts to allow you to switch.

… by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs, but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more major…

Damn, we’re so great we can’t even use our own water!

I want to follow this, and I sorta do… but ADHd makes the P,A and other A basically the same category. And the R is just “stuff I put down to look at but haven’t yet”.
Thought we were going to get an OT there, but no, interception instead. Still not to bad of a watch!

A few years ago I got a spam call from my own number. Who would fall for that?!

I’ll keep it short: 3 things

I run it in a container on Kubernetes. Definitely recommend.

More than a PDP-11, but I would recommend against both.

I wonder how a “first computer” stats break down when some people (me) were born before laptops and tablets. (Also now I feel old…)

The company I work for is currently developing an AI based system to “read” legal documents and boil them down to a few pieces of info to shove in a spreadsheet. One of the people I work with has to make a system that tests the quality of that AI. So far he’s found that to be an impossible task because the info he’d check it against, that in which humans did the same task, is also super fallible and basically he’s found that they both suck in different ways.
Which means the AI is just being used because no one can say its wrong, since no one can say its definitively right either… but it’s cheaper.

I mean, we did train it with data from the internet and books and history and everything else we could throw at it… This is like Leeloo in The Fifth Element learning all of the language and discovering “War”. If it really was AGI, theres no way you could be forced to consume all of that and come away “fine”.

Well, it definitely wasn’t about the friends we made along the way. We’re actively trying to backstab each and every one.
Honestly, it’s mostly the returns process that I feel make Amazon a better place for “direct from china” stuff. I do a lot of electronics hobby work and I can buy the same part from Amazon, Ali Express, or direct from fly by night companies in China. The latter two are generally cheaper, but the quality tends to be more questionable at times and I can’t really “return it for my money back” like Amazon.
You wouldn’t use a "vi"itor or an "emacs"itor, you use an "ed"itor!
This is where requirements as part of the data center zoning and purchase agreements comes in.
