I am more lonely nowadays, wishing for more and more interactions, to the point I do stupid shit. But I am learning, it is a process.

And yes, America is going through some shit right now. The world really. The next few years will be… interesting.

I don’t think Trump has the mental faculties left (if he ever had them) to read an article and comprehend what he read. Or to even understand the meaning behind images such as the “Pink Triangle”.

Having said that. Make no mistake, they are coming for all the letters of the LGBTQ+. He is surrounded by homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic people. He is also, most certainly, one of them. You may close your eyes and pretend that it is just the trans that are in danger. It is not. Trans hate will lead to gay hate.

It is a sci-fi book, mixed with (gay) romance. The sci-fi is really well done and so is the romance.

Two reasons:

• It is plastic. It will degrade into microplastics and will end up… in places where it shouldn’t. Water (from cleaning), inside of humans (and other animals) due to drinking water, breathing, etc.
• They are much harder to clean and keep hygienic. They get smelly much faster. They smell worse within a workout and they are hard to clean between workouts.

Buy cotton shirts/shorts. Avoid technical fabric.

Reddit should be sued for removing any mention of “Luigi”. Has he been deemed guilty yet? No, he has not. Pieces of shit.

After all this is said and done, I hope the world remembers all these pieces of shit. Everyone who is bending the knee.

It does suck indeed. The trick is to keep busy. A bit sad that one has to keep busy in order to not feel sad but ya. Try to fill the emptiness he left with other things. =((

Me… meh.

A very important friendship ended… I truly gave my heart for this friendship, helped this friend countless times in several things and… it just ended, with me blocked and him avoiding me whenever he sees me. He goes as far as pretending to go somewhere else just so his path doesn’t cross with mine. It truly hurts. Some of it is my fault, some of it is his. He was so manipulative, but at the same time, there were good things. I also spent quite a bit of money on this friendship… I feel like he left an emptiness.

Hopefully better days will come.

This is interesting. And I find that in these questionnaires, even if they are anonymous, there are many who lie for whatever reason.

So, 10% LGBTQ+ is nice. I want more though! My gym crushes are never gay =(

I wonder what are the numbers for men/women only? I have this intuition that women are more likely to identify as bi, which could be skewing the results towards the 10%.

Regarding your query: I suppose no one knows. There are 3 options I guess:

• It could become weird.
• Nothing would change.
• It could become awesome.

2 out of those 3 are ok. Personally, I don’t see why crossing that boundary would affect your friendship negatively. I think it would strengthen it, but this is me. Are you scared of him developing feelings for you? Talk with him about that!

What are you planning to do?

I think people who claim that the UI/UX is fine are missing the point. It is fine to you, but it is not fine to whomever made the claim. And for every person that makes such claim, there are hundreds/thousands who think/feel the same but don’t say anything.

Lemmy, as a community and as a project, should seriously listen more to the opinion of newcomers.

I find that quickstart entirely useless. How to create communities is already pretty self explanatory, as there is a button for “Create Community”. The same goes for Search.

I think an image/infographic with things like “how to link users?”, “how to link communities?”, is much more useful, as there are no quick ways to find that out, i.e., no buttons.

First, let me apologize for not having any answers to this post… This community is dead. I wish we would all collectively move from reddit to lemmy, specially with the current goings in the world.

I use one of those “hard plastic” douches and never tried this one. Though my douche has a removeable tip, and one of the tips is a more flexible one, though not a large one as this one, and it only has 1 side opening, not many, as your picture shows.

How do you compare this new douche with your old one? Is one better than the other?

Is there some infographic or image that explains how lemmy works? It may get confusing for new people. Even myself, I have been sort of “out of” lemmy and I don’t remember how tagging or linking instances works anymore. It would be nice to get an image that explains those things to just post around for new users…
