Makes sense that she’d be autistic. Double empathy is crazy. Every time I hear about what she’s doing, I legitimately wish I could go with her.

It’s interesting to me, I’m pretty sure it’s been very public/very talked about common knowledge that she is autistic since she first started making waves. Like it was probably her primary/only descriptor in headlines for a long time.

I don’t know if she is or isn’t. But I know I am, and that she’s a hero and an idol to me.

So that’s anecdotal, but combined with the shirt and my autism radar I’d say probably yes

She is, and she’s pretty much credited her autism for her focus and drive on these issues.

The worst thing about this, is that those who deserve to suffer the least, suffer the most. She is fairly vulnerable, and can’t take what they will do to her. They will make an example of her.

Not going to lie, I really want to straight up nuke Israel at this point.

Violence begets violence and there are a few israelis who are against all of this for the right reasons, but i get your feeling.
Turning all those “holly” sites into radioactive wasteland would solve a lot of issues.

Cause they’re gormless cowards who were told to hate her? Frankly speaking if you ever get the chance compare a garden variety cut off from media dipshit to one that is balls deep into watching fuckwads like Jordon Peepeeman and Charlie Owmyneck.

Because she tends to fight for things they people know to be true, but just have accepted to ignore because it makes their life simpler. Getting confronted with being a bad person tends to make people defensive, especially if it’s a young girl doing that to “though” men. These guys can’t handle criticism like that because it hurts their ego

When your horrible, awful, secret agenda is that you want the world to be a better place where people can live in peace and safety, like you’ve been loudly (and somehow also secretly) proclaiming for nearly a decade.

echo chambers are fine; i’d rather spend my time with likeminded people instead of yelling and arguing. if i wanted to do that i’d join debate club.

Echo chambers are shit, it’s the reason the world is the way it is. If you want to sit in a circle and jerk off with people that share your opinion then be my guest, but to pretend it’s a good thing is a bridge too far. Honest discourse and people checking each other is the foundational rhetoric of a democratic society, without it democracy dies.

Everywhere is an echo chamber you just need to recognize what it’s echoing and not getting caught up in it.

Eh, I agree with you, but Lemmy is it’s own special flavor of echo chamber. In the real world I’m super leftist, but on Lemmy I’m somehow the voice of conservatism. Lemmy needs some additional feedback because most everyone is saying the same thing as everyone else without any contrary opinion.

US politics isn’t the real world. If anything it’s more of an echo chamber than Lemmy. Because the working class really isn’t represented at all and it’s just the oligarchs arguing with each other from the center and the far right.

And surprise, you are outside the capitalist bubble. On a federated platform now hearing the actual opinions of working-class people, not the opinions of Democrats. Or their echoes from your liberal countrymen.

And leftist argue so much we have jokes about it, and how we can’t get anything done in spite of the fact that solidarity is one of our guiding principles. I am a far leftist. I’m anti authoritarian to my core. There are also authoritarian leftists, people who get called tankies around here a lot. Apologists for Stalin and Mao.

Just because you’ve been living in a propaganda bubble, ie an echo chamber your whole life, that does not make things outside that bubble an echo chamber.

It’s entirely possible you’re not as leftist as you think you are, but there’s also a number of tankies around here.

You might be right, my statements come from a US frame of reference. In the total spectrum I’m probably fairly centrist while in nonUS perspectives, but in US perspectives I’m moderate heavily leaning left. At the end of the day I still believe in a democracy which still leaves openings for conservatives. I’m not a true socialist in leftist European environs.

The AliExpress algorithm apparently knows me intimately and I didn’t even have to search for it. Seems like “autism skeleton shirt” will get you there, though.

It has also suggested shirts that say things like “I eat cement.” How does it know!?
