At one point they were. Now they show newer films and shows like The Walking Dead and Interview With the Vampire.
Well half of that sounds good!
I mean, Interview With The Vampire is a really good show, don’t get me wrong.

What could have been with The Walking Dead
I was reading the comics at the time, so by the end of season 2 things were changing enough that I didn’t care to keep watching. The comic (& games) did it better anyway.

But yeah AMC is also a tv channel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMC_(TV_channel). Apparently no relation to each other, just identical acronyms.
K. In Canada you used to be able to go to the cinema to watch WWE PPV, and the Theatre in our town has been showing new episodes of The Chosen on a weekly basis, so I thought this might be a Theatre revenue stream.
