Honestly I don’t think many Americans even know what is going on in the world. If you are someone who only gets their news from Fox or other right learning media then you are being told lies and propaganda.
It does seem about half of the USA is in their own fictional bubble where Trump is saving them from scary brown people or something.
It would be “sad” if it was happenstance; the fact that it was orchestrated by Murdoch and others - that half the country has been successfully manipulated by bullshit propaganda - makes it infuriating.
