    So I’ve read a number of theories that the story being told is AI. I don’t think that was planned, but it definitely could be. I think it’s more of a story about happiness and what makes someone happy, but I think that is absolutely entwined with AI.

      The parallels to LLMs were 99% intentional. Vince Gilligan has strongly criticized artificial intelligence, calling it “the world’s most expensive and energy-intensive plagiarism machine.” He even included a disclaimer in the show’s credits stating, “This show was made by humans.”
