“Tell me that you are a rolling release user without telling me” vibe.
Meet Fedora and run as many updates of a rolling release, without using a rolling release.
Btw
Aww yeah, this is Tumbleweed life. :D
post package-update clarity
I tend to update my package in the morning also.
Recently had to use a windows laptop for work. So weird to not be able to securely update all your packages but rather have some hacky IT tools that feel like malware scream out that they are updating some basic software on said laptop.
So surreal.

It needed an updated updater to be up-to-date on updates.
Haha
sudo pacman -Syyuugo brrrrrI always, always have the urge to update my image and flatpaks even when I have zero reason to. And if I have nothing productive to do anyways, why not lol.
On Windows I always delay big updates by, at minimum, a week. I don’t trust them.
Congratulation, you just installed the latest shai halud virus
Am I the only weirdo who updates their system when they’re about to log off for the night?
Then again I also only update like once a week…sometimes every 2 weeks if I forget.
Nope. Same here. I update then let handbrake work all night.
I try to only update stuff when I got time to fix something that breaks potentially.
IME the longer I wait, the higher the chances of an update break something, so I update my main desktop multiple times a day.
I like to live life dangerously. It’s only bit me in the ass twice in 3 years.
EndeavourOS btw.

Spoil sport. You have no sense of adventure.
I have to, cuz Gentoo. Keeps the home nice and toasty while I sleep.
I try not to do this any more because if it takes a while the cortisol stops me from getting to sleep afterwards.
I update when I log on, then again before I log off. I use Arch, btw.
This is the way…

Yay!
I don’t update anymore. My computer does that in the background completely. Thank you fedora and opensuse!
I have no idea on which GNOME version I am. I just know it’s always the latest.

Thank you fedora and opensuse!

It happens all in the background on the atomic versions. Opensuse aeon is amazing.
