I am finally, although it’s been a slow process, getting tired of 70s and 80s music on near repeat in stores. I started getting tired of hearing even 2000s music, which was more from my time, because I’m being reminded of better days and regrets that are from songs as when I first heard them.

Oh I am SO tired of that music on repeat on stores. 70s and 80s is overwhelmingly the period i vibe to the most, and going to cafes and hearing the same songs that spotify recommends to me makes me feel like a slave to the algorithm - it makes my own taste in music seem really mainstream.

        Oh indeed.

I’m even starting to dislike bands because of it and it’s unintentional. AC/DC, Queen .etc

I don’t hate them because of the impact they’ve brought to the rock scene and music in general. But I’m so fucking tired of ‘We Are the Champions’ or ‘Back in Black’ as a couple of examples because of how repeated they’ve gotten.

THEY’VE MADE MORE THAN THOSE FUCKING SONGS SO PLAY THEM!
