A few months ago, I started giving a couple of ravens some of my dog’s dry food when we go for walks. Since then, the same pair has been following us along a certain route, landing at the side of the path and waiting for me to throw them some food. They often fly very close to my head from behind when I haven’t noticed them, just so there are no misunderstandings. They have now figured out where we live and sometimes follow us to our front door. I always greet them with the same tone of voice, hoping that they will eventually greet me back.
