I have leveled up my bread making! I got a proofing bag. (It’s definitely a bag that looks like a box) We keep our house at 66F/18.88C in the winter which is a little too cold for dough. But this fun tool changes all of that!

This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.

Oh a proofing bag! Mother has this entire box and I looked it up and expensive!

Speaking of expensive, mother’s gift to me was an electric pressure canner! It’s exciting! It’s complicated! It’s very big and now part of chores today will be finding space for it! (Chores are normally Sunday but the power went out and the party happened)

Party, from my perspective, went fine. I was sociable. I talked to some guy about pets for a long time (long to me).

    Mother called while writing this.

Talk went well and she didn’t passive aggressive me about anything so I think the party actually went good! Nice.

I bet she has a Brod and Taylor. Those are expensive! This one was only $70 and I got it on sale for $60.

Oh my god I’m so jealous! I have a shitty glass top stove and my pressure canner takes forever to pressurize, I hate babysitting it. I hope you enjoy it!

It’s my big year end gift and I’m so so excited to use it! I’m looking at pressure canner recipes and still trying to figure out what to make first!

I drove 30 mins to Costco, did one lap around the parking lot and just left lol

Told myself it was okay to spend a little more than I wanted to on snacks and that I didn’t really need the other stuff anyways.

I think that was good self care.
