Maude falls off the bleachers and dies this episode.
So why do they look so nonchalant about it? Did the Simpson make her their Kenny?
She was hit by a T-shirt coming from a T-shirt cannon. I don’t think anyone - there or in the audience - anticipated it.
In the Hank Scorpio episode, he was talking to his shoes, not a person falling to their death, so there was little cause to be alarmed other than eccentric behavior.

The promos for the episode were “one of these characters is going to die.” And about 5 different characters were shown, including Maude, Wiggam, and I think Marge. People knew something was going to happen.
I remember seeing it happen in the show, but I didn’t really have access to commercials at the time, so I guess I didn’t know that. Thank you for letting me know.
