Hey, bigender gay/omni person here, I remember being a girl and talking to this one girl. I had a crush on her but she ended the friendship saying she didn’t like me and we wouldn’t get along, and maybe that was for the best…
Anyway, one thing she said stuck with me. Well I get being lesbian and only liking cis women, not trans women, but the way she said it kinda irked me… am I overreacting?

Hi there, I’m a cis lesbian who has previously dated what was at the time called pre-op trans women (I’m guessing there’s now a better way to say this now, but I’m a little ignorant and ancient by internet standards) … anyway, out of a very long list of things that made me not want to date a woman, having a dick was low down, and those two women still carry a bit of my heart with them.
There are many absolutely horrible lesbians out there, who judge others on stupid things, if you’re up front about who you are it’ll act as a filter to weed them out early on … unfortunately that’s hard to see through, but it’s better than the alternative (like a girl I once dated who turned out to be horribly racist, I didn’t find out for a whole month).
