Explanation: Trump has some really strange parallels to Elaida from Wheel of Time. Their ego, incompetence, and obessession with “restoring greatness” are close enough to be weird, but it only gets weirder when you think about Elaida bulldozing the warder grounds to construct her own palace and abducting kings to restore the towers influence

Yeah fair enough, as a fan of the series though I would say that as an american author Robert Jordan nailed the distinctive flavor of american fascism
Shohreh Aghdashloo is an amazing actress. I’ve loved her in every single role I’ve seen or heard her in.
SERIOUSLY. For a moment, I was like Trump is absolutely NOT Avasarala.
She is! I first encountered her in Renfield and when she was announced as Elaida I knew she would do an amazing job with the role. Sadly that got cut short, but I will treasure the bits we got
If you’ve not seen her as Avasarala in The Expanse do yourself a favour and watch it
