When I bought a new phone for GrapheneOS, I wanted to see if the new Pixel model was worth it, as mine was EOL. Many reviewers made comments about it being weird not buying a new 600 € phone every single year.
Then I checked some statistics from my local national bank. I calculated that the average resident in my country was in debt with 24,000 € and had about 3,000€ on hand.
Genuine question: how is capitalism supposed to continue?
They get everyone in horrendous debt until eventually we’re all back to being just slaves for like the top 3 dudes. Sure we won’t be able to buy nice things any more but slaves don’t need nice things.

What do you mean? Capitalism is functioning exactly like it’s supposed to. It has always been a tool to consolidate wealth and power to a few people.

‘I just need to make the numbers look good until I can quit this company and level up. Apre moi, le deluge.’ - capitalists without capital
‘I just need to keep things flowing toward me until I can quit this world and level up. Apre moi, le deluge.’ - capitalists with capital
Anyone with a scintilla of awareness knows it has limits, but you can’t ‘level up’ in capitalist games by accepting them.
