You would’ve thought that he would have enough enough money and influence from being Chancellor not to have to sell himself out. I guess he just wants to chase the power.

I saw a Reform Hive on Facebook earlier, and they’re all fuming that Farage let him in, although it seemed mostly about Covid vaccine tinfoil-hattedness.

I don’t know why they’re all so surprised. Reform will be mostly the same people who already ruined the country once, having changed the colour of their ties to keep their snouts in the trough. Only with an even bigger helping of blaming nebulous “others”.

I remember when he was in parliament but outside of government and he seemed quite fair and principled. In government another story but then you have to tow the line. Even when he left government again he seemed like he was fair albeit had a book to sell so a little pushy.

None of that time did I think an Iraqi Kurd refugee would be aligned with Farage the racist man. That is a sharp surprise.

I may not have liked his party or politics but he certainly wasn’t the worst around in his time. Now I am not so sure.

Farage on Zahawi in 2022: “I thought Zahawi had principles, but tonight we learned all he’s interested in is climbing that greasy pole.”

They seem perfect for each other
