I looked it up. These were anti-union laws. I think about how quickly the French can strike, but remember that it’s four to five giant labor unions that always call for them to happen. We’re in dire straits here in the U.S!

I think that the elites in France learned that it was much better to let the people strike than the alternative.

Not only that but keep getting more people active!! Also keep using Session, XMPP, Signal/Molly, Matrix/Element, Stoat, and Piefed to get coordinated and organize people!! Getting people to mobilize and organize other people as well. The more of us doing the stronger we all are!!

Unions AKA organized labor often call for strikes. Our unions have been systematically undercut in the US, and as such, we have a very limited ability to organize ourselves in collective action.

By outlawing solidarity strikes, and several other kinds of strikes. It’s difficult to organise a general strike because almost every general strike is illegal.

Solidarity strikes are illegal? Sounds unconstitutional. Enforcing sich laws should lead to the strikes spreading if it catches on.

The beauty of a genersl strike, you do not have to picket. Just not go to work. They can do little if it catches on, and beating up marchers will help it catch on.

We need to think about being able to protect ourselves marching and protesting. Especially against counterprotester type groups they will be giving license, support, intelligence, and protection to, to attack protesters unlawfully.
