In that moment, they learned this is real life. They all clearly aren’t trained. If they were to be attacked by someone else with a real weapon, they would literally piss themselves. They should not be in the position they are in, where that is a real potential outcome in their line of work.
They’re also all going to have that memory seared into their minds for the rest of the years, whether they face real consequences or not. I hope the trauma ends their lives early as well, if I were then I’d be thinking about turning the gun on myself after doing that to an innocent man. But then again, I’m a human being

They claim he had a gun, obviously. From the video it’s impossible to tell if he did.
To be precise, they claim ‘they were approach by a man with a gun’ and that ‘officers tried to disarm the man but ended up shooting him dead.’ which is obviously a lie. They attacked him and tried to arrest him for protesting. By the time they might have noticed a gun (if he had one) 5 guys were already trying to pin him down. Cold blooded murder.
