Next up should be crunchyroll.

This would be an interesting comic strip. A company that has purchased all the fonts in existence, and then the artist doing the comic you are reading gets sued by the company he’s making a comic about, because he doesn’t have the rights to the font.

I love turn based tactics games. They do tend to suffer the same issue as most RPGs in that you try to 1hko everything at the end. I’ll wait for a few reviews before deciding if I’ll add this to my list.
I don’t think we’re all simping. We’re just having discourse. Which means we’re all allowed to have varying opinions on topics. That should be the joy of lemmy, having conversations with people and learning from one another.
Agreed. I think they should have different pricing structures. There isn’t much real new effort going into placing old games onto new carts.
This is also another debate that goes around. I do agree that it is justifiable to increase the prices of new games on new consoles, it’s their company (even though I selfishly want to pay less), games prices have not kept up with inflation and they are brining more hours of gameplay. I do personally think this logic shouldn’t be applied to older games though. All the work was already put into creating them.
They really should keep older released games at a lower price. The only time I think the argument for a justifiable price is in a case like Ocarina of Time DS, where they remade the game. Most of the time that isn’t the case.
People can hate Nintendo. It’s mostly the disproportionate hate lemmy gives to nintendo, compared to microsoft and sony, who I believe are worse. If people are going to hate, at least balance it.
I feel like some of these videos are people just riding the hate train? Nintendo has always done this. Everyone agrees it’s a stupid practice. In Nintendo’s eyes their content is always about the software and not the physical aspect of it. The value of their IP never goes down, so they never lower it.

Yep, but I have the need to try and feed my 100% nature. We’ll see if I make it!

I really enjoyed Convergence. It was easy to 100% the map. I think it was just the correct length, since I was starting to feel it drag a little. It was nothing mind blowing, but it scratched my itch for a time manipulation game (The last one being Katana Zero). I generally like Ekko as a character, so I may be biased a bit (own two statues even though I never played League of Legends).
I’m at the start of chapter 6. I paused for a while to get through all the 41-50 challenges, so yeah those took me a while to get through. It was very repetitive, which is why I did it between other games.

It think it’s about balance. I have the same view point as yours. Early on, my wife would just get me new things of objects I already had. The difference is timing. I would tell her after the fact to not ruin her mood. She eventually understood and learned.
Every now and then she still does get me a thing I believe I don’t need. But she’s learned to be observant and is usually correct. If it were up to me, I would likely wear socks until all 5 toes are showing through. What I do in this instance is keep the new thing and I make sure I gift the older item to someone in need of it, or as back up for myself if the space allows. I am very much known in my spaces as the person that gives things away. If you’ve been in my life at least 3yrs, you probably own something that belonged to me.
I’m not sure what the relationship is between OP and the partner, but timing of when you tell them, does matter. Don’t do it right when the person has given you the gift, just wait. From what info there is, it doesn’t sound like they are a repeat offender of violating their rules.

I wishing the ability to jump hadn’t been spoiled by the trailer. There’s really no reason to play the game anymore.

Finished up LoL’s spin-off, Convergence. I decided to finally start up Battle Chasers Night War after having it sit on my switch home screen for a few years. I like the artwork and the combat has some interesting dynamics, but I feel like I may be past playing turn based RPGs at this point. I will likely see it out to the end.
Still chipping away at Age of Calamity side missions, Control on ps5.

This reminds me of my take a bit. The meaning of life is “Living to die”, meaning you live life to choose how you die. It’s more symbolic way of living more than anything else, because many things do factor into your death.
Very disappointed that’s not what this was.

I think one of the things playdate has going for them is they are portable.

If you have a phone with voice recognition, I sure you can just have it auto dictate when you ask it to.
I use generative fill for clean up almost daily now.
