      Big difference between pre-ordering an iPhone and essentially a Kickstarter situation where pre-orders fund development/manufacture so the product can exist

        Yeah, Apple doesn’t need your money to guarantee development and they already know how many phones they’re going to sell.

        My partner and I both have Clicks keyboards on RAZR phones, and we have the same complaint: the camera placement stops this from making the phone 100% useable in closed mode.

        Heck, I actually broke my inside screen and it took two weeks before I had to replace it since i was able to do everything i use my phone for on the outside (using Bluetooth for calls).

      Yeah I get that. But it’s refundable up to the point of shipping, they have shipped hardware before so I think it’s reputable enough to at least trust that I’ll either get the thing or get my money back.

      Plus it’s not like some huge company, they probably legitimately need some cash flow from these and the support matters. I wouldn’t preorder a Galaxy phone.
