I’m going on my first trail ride of 2026. My instructor’s fiancee won’t be around that day, so she’s taking me, her friend, and one of her younger students on a trail ride.

We intend to be out for 2 hours, but may make the ride longer if we collectively want to lol. I’ll be riding the horse named Ginger and I’m stoked. She’s so fun to ride and is so pretty.

I’m going out with a girl who confesses she always looks up to me and always feels at ease around me, even when I’m not saying anything.

Then, once I’ve finished playing that gacha game, I’ll drink a beer and go to bed.

I confessed to my situationship of almost 2 years that I had feelings the other day, she didn’t feel the same way. So probably not doing anything fun, all my close friends are in relationships and have plans for V-Day.

Probably journaling and watching YouTube all day unfortunately. It’s been a rough week.

However, I hope you enjoy your trail ride! What got you into horse riding?

The fact you confessed is a lot more than other guys in your position. Be proud you made yourself vulnerable and bring that confidence to the next person you are attracted to. You’ve got this king! 👑

Thank you for the kind words!

Despite how empty I feel, I am still proud of myself for finally getting that off my chest. I was wanting to ask for months, but held off because I was scared it wouldn’t work out. As soon as I asked her, I felt like a pallet of bricks was lifted off my shoulders.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having a rough time and I hope things improve for you!

Thank you! I grew up with horses, so I’ve always been into it. I had a ten year break starting when I was 16 before getting back into the whole equestrian thing as an adult. Been back at it for almost two years now and I actually just got official ownership the mare I’ve been rehabbing for like a year and a half. Hoping she’ll be saddle ready in the spring lol

Thank you for the kind words!

I’ve never had a horse, but I’ve been around some of my friend’s parents who have horses. One runs a boarding stable and it seems like quite the handful! Though, like most animals that investment is always worth it. How old is your mare?

You’re welcome! Running a boarding stable is a nightmare. I’ll stick to one horse lol. She’s expensive enough lol. She’s 26, and will be turning 27 in September. I’m hoping to get her to 30. She also may be able to be ridden again if the vet gives it the okay. I’ll find out that when spring vet checks happen lol.

If you snoop on my profile, she’s like the main thing I post lol. I’m actually going to be putting up a new pic of her in a few minutes lol.

Not much. I woke up to do some dragonboating while he slept in, and now he’s just finished at the gun range and is going out for dinner with one of his best friends. I know where I sit in this bromance. 😭

Jokes aside, I know he loves me to death, but we don’t really do anything for Valentine’s day. His birthday was last week and we went on a day-long bike ride, had an epic sourdough sandwich half way through, and I surprised him with a travel pin board.

This afternoon, I have been reading, journalling, nursing sore muscles, and will be having a miso salmon bowl for dinner.

Avoiding anything valentiney. I’m happily married, she just has bad memories of the day and we both hate crowds and are cheap asses. We’d rather celebrate our relationship a month later on the anniversary of our first date

I am doing the prescribed thing because I am an automation who cannot think for themselves (actually I just like it): for my wife a dozen red roses, a box of chocolates, a card, some red lingerie nd dinner at a michelan listed restaurant. ive had reservations for over a month 👌

Bed athletics while the kids are downstairs, watching morning cartoons. Then, full day for me, driving the kids to their sports clubs while the Mrs is working on her upskilling certs. Then early bedtime because Sunday is my long run day.
