Countries with nuclear capacity are involved in most of them. Nuclear treaties are deteriorating. These wars can be seen as motivating others to be bolder in their actions (China regarding Taiwan, India regarding Jammu/Kashmir). Justification for current wars is lacking at best. Often it’s about saving face, holding on to power or staying out of prison. Rules-based order is coming to an end. The only decisive factor is strength and posturing. Rules of engagement are non-existent.
