    Israel’s military spokesman said Israeli forces had killed several top Iranian defense officials this morning. They included Iran’s defense minister, Gen. Aziz Nasirzadeh; the head of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, Gen. Mohammad Pakpour; and a top adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Shamkhani. The spokesman, Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin, said nothing about Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
