Like…at least Bush had a valid excuse initiated externally. Even if he stretched it into the wrong country. (Okay, in retrospect the claim is rooted in xenophobia. Maybe you can’t expect much better of GOP voters)

Trump makes George W. look like a super intellectual pacifist. Almost likeable… almost.

Voting blue is the only way of keeping this from happening until we handle our oligarch problem, repeal Citizens United, and gut the system and take it over.

Saying things like “Keep on voting red and blue and this is what you will get” is how you give the fascists more power, though people not voting at all.

The blue party never opposed bombing the middle east, saying things like “voting blue is the only way” is a good giveaway that you are living a peaceful life far away from US bombs.

Well, that was a nice attempt to be cute, but it ignores realty. People being bombed probably don’t have a vote. And if they do, they should vote for Democrats who are by far the less warmongering party.

As with domestic issues, the implication is not that the Dems are perfect. Far from it. But they are generally reasonable, especially when contrasted with the fascists who most certainly are not.

Saying things like “you are living a peaceful life far away from US bombs.” in an attempt to invalidate my statement doesn’t help your case, nor does it change the reality that blue is better - or at least, less bad.

Voting for the people bombing you is just as stupid as it sound. If you want to do the correct thing and not just what benefit you, you should either vote for a third party that is actually good or not vote at all.

Your opinion that one of the two parties is “generally reasonable” is rooted in the fact that you are not being targeted by them. If you were living in gaza and israel were murdering your family with US government support you wouldn’t believe them to be any reasonable for a second.

              vote for a third party

              And there it is.

Vote third party in the US and you are voting for the fascists. Plain and simple.

If you want change, the system must be overhauled. Suggesting to vote third party simply shows ignorance about how it works.

If you were living in gaza and israel were murdering your family

Even if I agree to give you that single point, it ignores EVERY SINGLE OTHER FUCKING THING.

No, it’s not plain and simple, if you argue that you are voting fascists by voting a third party that oppose fascists you are bending logic upside down.

Even if I agree to give you that single point, it ignores EVERY SINGLE OTHER FUCKING THING.

We you judge someone you don’t skip over the fact that they murdered someone, you don’t judge them good because everything they have done other than a murder was ok
