    Most electric guitars have 24 frets

    With 6 strings, we get 144 frets, up to 192 on an 8-string.

      Doesn’t work like that though. Many notes are the same.

      E.g. standard tuning 5th fret on the low E(1st string) is the same as open A (2nd string)

      Works for the other strings as well, so it’s more like 24 + 5 * 5 ? Or something along the lines, haven’t thought it through…

          You can tune the low string extra low, the high string extra high, and you can bend the fuck out of the highest note, to get maybe an extra octave
