This is literally a Marxist shitpost? I don’t get what you mean. /gen

You seem to be talking about historical revisionism, conflating it with ideological revisionism.

Neither do I understand your definition of fascism. I wouldn’t say that historical revisionism equals fascism, it’s extremely common.

fuck i just lost 3 paragraphs of work because i thought i could write this up on my phone now that i’m done with work and my wife’s using the only working charger we have right now. i’m gonna need to regather my thoughts again because now i’m too mad at all that lost work to focus my energy on what i have to say

(stupid cancel button having no “are you sure?” prompt)

i’m still gonna leave my outline for my future self though because i think i’m coming down with something:

      • an acknowlegement of the Marxist-Leninist tone of this meme
      • a critique of how this is EXACTLY the kind of agitprop the CIA pumps out to discredit leftist groups
      • an exploration of what left and right are and have been for the last 16,000 years when the terms old only about 230 years old
      • a conclusion questioning if ideological revisionism and historical revisionism can even actually be different when inellectual discourse has only been subdivided into buckets for ~300 years, especially when as leftists part of our outlook on the world is that action, history, and patterns of thought are all interconnected notions (this is the part i’m the most excited about since it leans into the interplay of Focault, Marx, Mao, and Trotsky. no weirdo anarchist thinkers like myself even needed)
