i’d point you to more contemporaries, but pan African liberation movements and anarchocommunist resistance groups in this moment are intentionally underground because the thought leaders are largely double or triple marginalized by their race, class, gender, and sexual orientation. so instead i’d point you to just reading up on for us by us mutual aid networks such as SW VA Mutual Aide which is seeking restitution and the restoration of right of prisoners held in one of America’s most horrific maximum security state prisons.

i was gonna say something to this effect. big tech firms aren’t pushing woke anything. they’re the most anti-woke shit out there. they want us isolated and divided so we never learn our true power as a populace. if this poster keeps drilling down this insane “woke people are just as ignorant as fascists” bullshit i’m going to block them because their entire argument hinges on assuming white usage of a Black term is correct when it is overtly and intentionally incorrect.

trust her expertise, but not her authority. authority is power over another person and there is a history of doctors abusing their power over patients (in particular against LGBTQIA+ and indigenous people)

a few problems with this comment:

1. woke is net a left wing counterpart to “redpilled” it’s a term at least 160 years old
2. anyone who claims to be woke is instantly not woke. you have to earn being called woke by an oppressed person. you can claim to be conscious to aspects of this system of oppression, but you cannot claim to be woke or conscious without instantly demonstrating yourself to be a performative ally
3. your issue is not with whether or not being woke is good, your issue is with whether or not claiming to be woke is good, in which case, see point 2
4. conservatives use redpilled wrong just like they use woke wrong. they just generally use any terms of consciousness wrong because fascism is a scam that promises progressive benefits through status quo, an obvious logical fallacy
