Because they desperately need any kind of materiel they can get, and they’re hoping not to be cut off
If Europe would properly equip them they could be independent of the US.
That’s been in the works in Ukraine and the EU, but that kind of production capacity takes years to build. Hopefully soonish the war profiteers can be traded for, at least, slightly fresher ones.
