From what I remember, AOL was full of people trying to meet people, the ASL initialism was created, age sex location.
We didnt just hook up tho, after eventually exchanging phones numbers, we talked for a year before actually meeting. There also werent very many people online yet, I have to say it wasnt full of predators back then, they didnt know how to use the internet yet. They were still in telephone party rooms haha.
