The “censored” image for reference:

I swear, not enough people recognize about how much the “advertiser friendly” algorithm push is ideological rather than to simply maximize profits.

This is why I always do the quest where you go back and kill him. Its the most satisfying quest in the game.

  • Preying on the correct assumption that people value social acceptance and clout more than their personal liberties, and will gladly censor themselves for greater exposure. But we already know the people at the helm of the world are a bunch of “predators” so what else is new.

The idea that people willingly censor themselves for these sites is wild. If the algorithm hides my post because it contained swearing, I guess I didn’t really want to post that badly. I’m not going to engage with a site that tries to police my thoughts or actions, which is why I think most of us left reddit

I got banned from the official Bethesda forums back when Oblivion came out (the original version) because I posted screenshots of a couple of zombies I killed that landed in a hilariously compromising position (looked like one was eating the other’s ass out).

Like, bro what? It’s your fucking game! If it’s too spicy to show off your own product, on your own forums, unmodded, unedited, then what the fuck? 🤣

Man, Bethesda is about as spicy as milk with their brand. One of the best descriptions of Starfields city Neon was that it was like Cyberpunk 2077 for Mormons.

If you wanna add realism to your fictional world, including some bigotry is (unfortunately) a great way to do it.

Yeah, Morrowind was basically entirely populated by that guy and it had the most credible world building by a long shot. In comparison, Oblivion and Skyrim felt like theater plays…
