    To be clear Germany has no defined “nazi region”. There are federal states where the extremists/nazis have more votes and therefore seats in the respective parliaments. So far they rule none though. And yes it’s disgusting that they haven’t been prohibited, banned or otherwise eliminated from the democratic system, which they clearly try to undermine and hollow out.

      it’s alluding to claims (and legal protection) of authenticity in food and drinks, like when they say it’s only champagne when it comes from the champagne region in france, otherwise it’s sparkling water (except california champagne circumvented this but whatever).

        They never needed that idiot for that, people can argue amongst themselves quite well.

        Fashists will do fashist things it’s up to the people to not let them actually get the power they want. For now I’d consider Germany’s voters and parties to be capable of doing that. We’ll see how the elections go.

          It’s just, if he claims to not be a fascist and then looks at Germany with a much broader party spectrum - among them neolibs whose party leader even tried simping for Musk - and still goes for the fascist option then the case seems pretty obvious
