That room has a very specific odor that I can’t quite describe, but I trust you know it as well.
Old carpet, dust, decades of sunlight, and a hint of wood.
Don’t forget cigarettes.
That’s a nasty wine/juice spill.
Blood would look darker. Almost brownish I think.
Looks more like that was the original color and there was a rug over it. The rest has faded in the 50 years since it was laid down.
It looks like the Koolaid Man visited…and that’s why that wall is all patched up with mosaic tile print
