Does anyone have recommendations for alternatives to Splitwise?

Recently they removed some features from their free version and now I am looking for an European alternative.

Thanks!

EDIT: Thank you so much for the amazing recommendations! Gonna give Spliit, Splid, and Tricount a go :)

Yup, been using tricount for years, can’t rate it enough (especially now it does multiple currencies within a single kitty.

Mind you, thought it was French so have been pronouncing it “tree-cont” and that’s no coming back from that! :)

I’m going to have to convince some family members to do this soon. We’ve used splitwise, but I’ve wanted to drop it for years simply because it’s proprietary and I don’t trust it. Now I have more reasons. Did you use an app or a mobile site to input your expenses?

I’ve always used the web browser on desktop for it, also on Splitwise, so I don’t have experience with mobile here. But there’s an Android app developed by the same developer IIRC

Used to be called “wiebetaaltwat”. Found out about this app years ago from couple of Dutch guys and it was actually quite nice to use.

Haven’t used it in awhile so don’t know if anything has changed, but it was simple and efficient.

I moved from Splitwise to Solitzer a few weeks ago. It’s simple and efficient, I like it a lot! I’m from Sweden, so I don’t use the bank integrations.

I have never heard of this, but is Revolut not European? Splitting was their big selling point initially
