Really enjoyed their cinemography of the multiple lives and dark one’s prison breaking.

I wish they would have shown the maidens joining when showing the Aiel split.

So far this as been a great season! I’ll probably catch up with ep 5 this weekend.

So, a few words before the next episode:

    • I really liked the episode overall, especially the visions
    • good idea to focus only on Rhuidean, allows you to concentrate and try to understand what happens there
    • but speaking of understanding, while all the scenes were great, I’m not sure how many viewers will really understand the Aiel story after that (I’ve read the books, but still had to look at the wiki to fully grasp it again)

All in all, another great episode with excellent acting. Well done.

I haven’t watched it (I walked away after the S1 finale) but I heard good things about this episode, and looked at some clips of Rhuidean on YT which I liked.

I hope that the rest of the season has/will maintain the same level of quality.

I liked the episode! I thought they did Rhuidean well, for both Rand and Moiraine. I’ll also be curious to see how certain Mat moments end up being adapted later…

I’ve also seen it in the meantime and I found it pretty good as well. Nice work and in some parts quite close to the books - which I personally don’t need but it’s still nice to see.

Mat’s storyline is still quite intriguing. Really like him in general this season but he’s still on some pretty mysterious paths.

(Wanted to write a few more thoughts from me in the comments when I find the time.)

I feel like the show is making an extreme course correction into a proper adaptation of the books. The storyline is still out of order which is annoying but damn, this was a great episode. Love how they did Matt here, but I’m curious how they are going to weave in the plot elements hey left out. I feel like Mins viewing was them saying “look we didn’t forget we just wrote ourselves in a corner for now”.
