I started using Radio Garden app to listen to my favourite radio stations, but I would like to explore more. I am mostly interested in music, maybe with a bit of talking, and music that ages well, not the kind if radio that has the latest of the latest.

For now my favourites are:

Die Neue FM 107.7 Germany Kiss FM Spain Magic FM Romania

I am interested in music in other languages too, not only English. A good mix.

Chirp: Chicago Independent Radio Project is what I always recommend when this comes up. Commercial-free, live volunteer DJs, solid history, community-supported.

CKUA is Canada’s oldest public broadcaster and supported by community donations, not ads. They have fundraising events a couple times a year, where they will solicit donations. But otherwise its just full of interesting programs and music you’ve most likely never heard before. The full spectrum of world music with quite a bit of Canadian content
