Also: Vikings were pretty dedicated warrior culture, and horns on helmets are only a gift to the enemy who wants to control you in combat. Same with long braids that they are often depicted with so no, they wouldn’t wear horns in combat
AFTER, maybe. Vikings were very vain and I can imagine them having a separate ‘party helmet’ where horns would become a display contest
