The Japanese government asked the United States on Thursday for Japan to be exempt from auto tariffs, calling the latest move by its closest ally "extremely regrettable," a top government spokesman says.

    Possibly? Toyota manufactures the majority of their vehicles for sale in the US, in the US. They just moved their HQ to Frisco Texas recently I believe.

      And now another country can learn the US is no longer a reliable trade partner and can start planning their future without America.

      Americans have no idea how bad this is going to hurt in a few years. If they thought life was tough now, yikes…
