When we read about historic politicians and the things they said 100 years ago, the US had Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Hoover. There are political debates about the good and bad things they did but all of them had sensible and meaningful quotes about society, philosophy and government … they were educated in rhetoric and everything they said and wrote came from a base of a lot of education and understanding.
The US in the 2020s has an 80 year old man who could barely manage the country and a clown that never makes any sense.

Honestly? All I see is deflection that you see on every side of the isle. Cancer getting to stage for undiagnosed for someone like Biden would be incredibly rare. In fact, the side effects of the treatment itself would explain much of what we’ve seen with Biden. Also, the administration supported genocide & gaslit and lied to everyone about Biden’s mental fitness, but now you think it is pertinent to trust the genocidal geriatric. The real cancer is in the Democratic party right now with people always gaslighting, making excuses, claiming moral superiority despite showing their lack of morals, etc. If you want Democrats to win they maybe start focusing on how they intend to accept responsibility & correct their issues this time around, rather than projecting & playing histrionics.

Most every politician is corrupt as hell and I don’t take anything a politician says at face value because most likely the opposite is true. The “real cancer” as you put it is the system as a whole. It’s in every law being passed that allows corporations to donate in larger and larger amounts, to influence politicians, to introduce bills that are clearly only good for them. It’s in the not-slow-enough re-combination of church and state.
