This is part of what the opposition is supposed to do. They criticise, make fun of, offer legislative resistance to, and draw attention to the bad policies of the government.
I’m not sure exactly what, but it should be something closer to what many brave Americans did in San Diego and Minneapolis recently. Giving out free tacos is better than nothing I guess, but it’s not the level of effort their responsibilities require in the moment.
What happened in San Diego and Minneapolis?
Protestors surrounded gestapo goon squads to make everything more difficult for them, while shouting “SHAME” and “GET THE FUCK OUT”
They can stop 6-8 of their own members from voting in favor of fascism.
They can make tangible changes in reality instead of lip service.
